• Provide a liaison between the University’s sports teams and the Students’ Union.
• Represent the concerns and views of students on issues relating to sport and the sports teams within the Students Union.
• Represent the concerns and views of students on issues relating to
  sport and the Sports Department to external bodies such as BUCS
   

• Attend all meetings of the Union Council
• Attend all meetings of members.
• Convene and attend not less than one forum each semester at which students can discuss sports issues.
• Attend, and represent the Students’ Union, at meetings within the University called primarily to discuss student sports.
• Report all actions and decisions to the membership, in an appropriate format
• Represent University at annual BUCS conference
• Liaise with Sports Department to attend BUCS meetings when required and act as "political voice" for the University's student sports programme
