Hiring the Safety Bus 2009/10
Need a bus to get you and your friends out and about? Are you a member of a society organising a trip and need some transport? If yes, why not hire the Safety Bus?!
The Safety Bus is available to all students for hire. If needed this can include a driver or if you like you can take a 'Safety Bus Driving Test' and drive yourself!
Charges for hiring the Safety Bus...

For Students' Union use (including societies) |
50p/mile plus £5/hour in Safety Bus time ( |
|
For any other use (e.g. students, university departments etc) |
50p/mile plus £5/hour anytime plus VAT |
Buses should be filled with diesel at the end of the day. Cost of Diesel can be claimed back on production of a VAT receipt. Buses should be cleaned inside before returning vehicle to the Students’ Union

Additional costs may be charged under the following circumstances…

How to hire the Safety Bus...
To hire the Safety Bus you will need to fill out a Booking Form and email it to obsu.safetybus@brookes.ac.uk.
